Helen Fan

Helen Fan is a Silicon Valley–based lawyer and legal AI strategist trained at Columbia Law School. With experience across global companies and leading law firms, she brings a multilayered understanding of how legal systems operate — from regulation to corporate decision-making to client service.

She created the Legal AI Value Stack — a five-level framework for understanding defensibility in legal AI, with 400,000+ readers on LinkedIn. She runs a 100-day public experiment building an AI-native law firm with AI agents, and hosts the Legal Tech Hobbyist podcast. She also founded Legal Tech Frontier, a 1,000+ member legal AI community across the US and Asia.
